Information for Reserving the Pavilion:

The following rules and regulations are established and enacted for the use of the Cummings Township Park located at 116 Park Avenue, Waterville PA 17776:

Section 1. Rules of the Cummings Township Park: 

1. Alcohol prohibited. 

2. Open fires prohibited. 

3. Motorized vehicles prohibited except in designated parking areas. 

4. Hunting prohibited. 

5. Camping prohibited. 

6. Glass containers prohibited. 

7. Fireworks prohibited. 

8. Overnight parking prohibited. 

9. Hard ball prohibited. 

10. Shoes required. 

11. Be aware of hot surfaces. 

12. Clean up dog waste. 

13. Adult supervision required for ages 8 and under. 

14. Play at your own risk. 

15. Failure to follow these rules will lead to prosecution. 

16. Park Hours: Sunrise to Sunset only 

17. Bus parking prohibited except in designated areas. 

Pavilion Rental 

A. Pavilion rental generally: 

1. Individuals or entities may reserve the park pavilion for a date and time certain that is not to exceed six (6) hours of duration, including set up and clean up. 

2. Groups may not exceed forty (40) persons and may not involve more than one bus. Buses are required to park in the designated bus parking area behind the Waterville Fire Company. 

3. Rental of the pavilion does not entitle the renting party to exclusive use of the park or of the park equipment. 

4. The pavilion and tables must be cleaned, and all party materials and refuse must be removed from the park. 

5. The rules stated in Section 1 of this Ordinance must be adhered to by the renting party.

• Via the calendar below, please select the date that you want to rent the pavilion and fill out the pertinent form fields. You will receive an email that your request is pending and an approval email will be sent out once it is approved.
• Please enter your email in all lowercase letters and be sure to check your spam/junk folder regularly for emails about your reservation.

B. Rental Process and Cost: 

1. A completed Rental Application is required, and can be obtained by downloading the application via clicking the image below:

2. The Township will maintain the Township website and update pavilion rental availability. All rentals are on a first come first served basis. 

3. The Rental Application must include the name, address and contact information of the individual making the reservation and that individual will be responsible for compliance of the park rules and conditions. 

4. The Rental Application must include the rental fee (payable to Cummings Township) and a $100.00 refundable security deposit to ensure proper clean up and adherence to park rules. 

5. The rental security deposit check will be returned to the responsible party after a post-rental inspection is completed by the Township. 

6. The rental fee for Township residents is $40.00; the individual renting the pavilion and assuring compliance with Park rules as identified on the Rental Application must be a Cummings Township resident or property owner in order to be eligible for the $40.00 rental fee. 

7. The rental fee for non-residents is $80.00. 

The pavilion rental fees may be revised, as needed, by the Board of Supervisors of Cummings Township by Resolution adopted during a public meeting.
