Our All Volunteer Fire Company is the First Responder for all 911 emergencies in Cummings and McHenry Townships. This is important in any emergency situation because of the significant amount of time saved when help is coming from your neighbors living close to you as opposed to from down the valley in Jersey Shore or farther away. More than 50% of our calls are Rescue and Emergency Medical Services. Help coming locally can literally be the difference between life and death in a medical emergency or traumatic injury.16% of our calls are Fire and Hazardous Condition responses. 13 % of our calls are Service calls like pumping out flooded basements and another 9% are Severe Weather and Natural Disaster related.

THERE IS NO “PAID FIRE COMPANY”, THAT IS, THERE IS NO GROUP OF PEOPLE THAT ARE HIRED AND PAID PAID TO KEEP YOU SAFE . IT’S YOUR NEIGHBORS THAT ARE THERE FIRST TO HELP WHENEVER AND AT WHATEVER TIME OF DAY YOU NEED IT.
