We have experienced a concerning increase in suspicious activity including property theft and break ins recently and think it is appropriate to post this public safety reminder.
If you see suspicious activity, unusual behavior, or become the victim of a crime, please call 911 right away. Calling 911 is the quickest way to get police assistance and allows officers to respond while information is fresh. A 911 call placed during or immediately after the incident is the best way to get a resolution, including apprehension of the perpetrator.
For incidents that are not emergencies, please report them promptly by calling our non-emergency number for the Lycoming County Communications Center at 570-433-4461.
We rely on our community’s eyes and ears to help keep Cummings Township safe. Thank you for doing your part!
